Slate
Do you fix slate roofs?
No. We replace slate roofs with asphalt shingles. If your slate is worth keeping, send the form anyway and we'll point you to someone who does that work. See fix or replace.
Can every slate roof be converted to asphalt?
Most can, if the slope suits shingles and any historic review body agrees. Mansards and turrets on designated Philadelphia houses go to the full Historical Commission. See historic approvals.
Paying for the roof
What workmanship warranty comes with an asphalt roof replacement?
Asphalt shingle roof replacements, including slate-to-asphalt conversions, come with a 15-year workmanship warranty. It applies to that roof work only.
Do you offer financing?
Financing is available, including a 12-month no-interest option. Subject to credit approval. Terms vary; ask for details.

Is the inspection really free?
Yes. The inspection and the written estimate cost nothing and carry no obligation.
Can I call you?
There is no phone line. Send the form and we reply in writing, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, which keeps every detail on record.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, as the contractor, and we prepare the historic application with you where one is needed. See roof rules by municipality.
